Behind the Scenes
Health Center had a dance off for round trip Access coupons. AGENDA - Access Services
The new coupons will not have an expiration date, and will be good forever at current value. There is no change in the distribution process for coupons. Access will continue to sell coupons via mail and from 5 transit store/locations across LA County. Existing coupons and Metro tokens will still be accepted at face value ($0.90).
Access Coupons. Mr. Prem announced that Access Coupons are being re-designed to reflect the new fare changes. The new coupons are two tiered; the base coupon and the plus coupon. The base coupon has a fare of $2.25 and works from zero to 19.9 miles. It will be sold in booklets of 10 costing $20.50.
In order to continue to provide efficient service to all of our customers, Access asks that customers continue to meet the driver outside of their residence or building. Per current policy, the driver will dwell for no more than five (5) minutes once arriving at a pick-up or drop-off location. ITEM 8. MARCH 10, 2015
